The first thing this client said to us was that she wanted her home to reflect her stylish, classic New York upbringing with a balance of color and flair, but that her bedroom and bathroom should be complete, total serenity. The design was focused on maintaining a flow throughout the house that incorporated traditional antiques mixed with contemporary pieces, hand painted finishes, carefully layering pattern, scale, and detail, and elegant, natural materials.  In the bathroom, details such as a custom designed marble border, hidden storage, and a deep soaking tub balanced tailored style with tranquility.
