About Regan

Regan believes a home should reflect the way you live.  She also thinks that building, renovating or designing a home, or special space, can seem daunting.  With this in mind, she founded Regan Billingsley Interiors, a firm for discerning homeowners who are looking for professional guidance, leadership, and assistance in design projects that encompass the entire home – this is our passion.

Regan began her career in New York City after earning a degree in interior design from the distinguished Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She honed her craft working with Clodagh Design and Ralph Lauren, in New York, and Madeline Stuart & Associates, in Los Angeles, before moving back to the DC area and establishing her own firm in 2013.

With her refined yet relaxed aesthetic, and her skillful use of color and pattern, Regan is well known for creating beautiful and comfortable family homes in which every space is designed to be lived in and enjoyed.

Lisa Devaney O’Neil
Project Manager

After earning a degree in interior design, Lisa worked at the Kellogg Collection before starting her own business as a sales representative in the home furnishings and accessories industry, which she ran for 15 years. She joined RBI in 2015.

Christa Macfarlan

On the heels of graduating with a degree in communications from Penn State University, Christa worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art before ultimately relocating to San Diego. While in California, she worked for a premier advertising agency specializing in the home building industry. Her passion for art and design was ignited and led her back to school to pursue a degree in interior design. The time and experiences Christa had in California, as well as her travels around the west coast for work and pleasure, greatly shaped her design point of view, which can be best described as a simple, clean and comfortable way of living. Christa made DC her new home in 2012 and has been part of the RBI team since 2015.

Brooke Hurley

A DC native, Brooke has traveled the world providing training on corporate culture and standards­—an experience that taught her the value of superb customer service and client support, which she brings to every RBI project. Having moved many times over the years, Brooke developed a passion and a talent for creating homes that feel lived in and that positively impact family life. She and her family currently live in Washington, DC.

Hillary Schwartz

Originally from Los Angeles, Hillary is a twenty-year veteran of the interior design industry. Prior to joining RBI in 2016, she worked with luxury brands, such as Kelly Wearstler, Dedon and Janus et Cie, and managed hospitality and residential installations in locations across the country.

Sara Solin Martinez

Following her B.A. from Dartmouth College and M.B.A. from Columbia University, Sara worked in the management consulting and marketing industries before pursuing a career in design. The career shift was not a surprise given that she spent much of her childhood in her parents’ showrooms in the famed D&D and A&D buildings in midtown Manhattan. With her background in business and her ingrained design roots, Sara offers a wide range of experience in service and project execution. She is an expert in helping clients realize a cohesive vision for their home. She joined RBI in 2018.

Christine O’Neil
Business Manager

Christine has more than 20-years experience managing the financial and process sides of businesses, large and small. After earning a degree in operations research engineering from Cornell University, Christine spent her early career working as a business consultant for a DC consulting firm and the General Electric Company. She subsequently decided to shift gears and use her business expertise to help entrepreneurs and small businesses develop and thrive. Christine works with the RBI design team to manage the financial aspects of each project.

Regan Billingsley Northeast is a full-service division of RBI focused on clients in New York, Connecticut and beyond.

Rebecca Morrison
Designer + Project Manager

Rebecca worked as a graphic designer at Southern Living magazine before earning a master’s degree in interior design from the Pratt Institute in New York. Before joining RBI in 2018, she worked for Ralph Lauren in New York City, designing and managing large-scale new construction and renovations of their brick-and-mortar storefronts. Rebecca now designs and manages projects for residential and commercial RBI clients in Connecticut and New York.

Cliff Sutherland
Designer + Project Manager

After earning a degree in interior design, Cliff began his career in New York City working with well-known residential designer, Michael DeSantis, and Ralph Lauren, where he became vice president of store development. Cliff has a strong background in teamwork, design, project management and creative problem solving. He joined RBI in 2108.
