Real Life, Beautifully Designed

Regan Billingsley Interiors was built upon the following beliefs: that joy can be experienced as a result of our surroundings, that homes impact our well being and should be a true reflection of the way we live, and that beauty need not be sacrificed for practically.

By blending a thoughtful selection of furnishings, antiques, found objects and natural elements with a masterful mix of patterns, colors and scale, Regan Billingsley Interiors (RBI) creates homes that combine the tailored classicism of the east coast with the laid-back lifestyle of California—every space is layered, lived-in and full of life.

With locations in Washington, DC, and Connecticut, RBI is currently working on projects across the country, including: Maryland, New York, Los Angeles, Florida, and Nantucket. The firm’s work has been featured in publications such as: The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, DC Modern Luxury, and Apartment Therapy.

Lisa Devaney O’Neil
Project Manager

Lisa grew up in Kensington, Maryland, and earned a degree in Interior Design from the University of Delaware. Upon graduation, Lisa became manager of The Kellogg Collection’s flagship store where she was put in charge of buying, display sales and staff. Four years later she started her own business as a sales representative in the home furnishings and accessories industry, which she ran for 15 years. After taking time off to raise her two children, she joined RBI in 2015.

Christa Macfarlan
Designer

On the heels of graduating with a degree in communications from Penn State University, Christa worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art before ultimately relocating to San Diego. While in California she worked for a premier advertising agency, specializing in the home building industry, where her passion for art and design was ignited and led her back to school to pursue a degree in interior design. Her time and experiences in California, as well as her travels around the west coast for work and pleasure, greatly shaped Christa’s design point of view, which can be best described as a simple, clean and comfortable way of living. She made DC her new home in 2012 and has been part of the RBI team since 2015.

Brooke Hurley
Designer

A DC native, Brooke traveled the world while providing training on corporate culture and standards. Her experiences taught her the value of superb customer service and client support. She also owned a high-end custom stationery company, allowing her to combine her customer service skills with a keen sense of detail, something she brings to every RBI project. Having moved many times over the years, including abroad in England, Brooke developed a passion and a talent for creating homes that feel lived-in and that positively impact family life. She joined RBI in 2017.

Hillary is a 24-year veteran of the luxury interior design industry and has worked with brands such as Kelly Wearstler, Dedon and JANUS et Cie. She is well regarded for providing the highest level of service to clients and has led hundreds of prestigious public and private installations for hospitality and residential clients nationwide. She received a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and studied at UCLA and the New York School of Interior Design. She joined RBI in 2016.

Sara Solin Martinez

Following her B.A. from Dartmouth College and M.B.A. from Columbia University, Sara worked in the management consulting and marketing industries before pursuing a career in design. With her background in business and her ingrained design roots, Sara brings a wealth of experience and comprehensive knowledge of service and project execution to every job; she is an expert in helping clients realize a cohesive vision for their home. She joined RBI in 2018.
